So simple. Needed business checking for my freelance stuff and to separate out from my normal job and make taxes easier. Legalzoomed an llc online was super basic. I guess you can do pretty much anything online these days. I never needed to know any of this nerd detail stuff so i guess it’s not important. I did it 6 yrs ago. Passaic County NJ wassup!

at the beginning you say LLC can shield personal assets. Is that so though? Any references to why you think so would be helpful. Also, why form NJ LLC vs say Delaware LLC, or another state.

To that lady in the video, what business school did you go to? I'd get my money back you got ripped off... Third-party insurance companies are bull crap.... How do you expect a business to prosper if they keep on paying for insurance they already exists....

I have a question- I filed for a single owner NJ LLC with Incfile (aka Bizee) and got my articles of incorporation. In order not to pay extra, I received my EIN through the state as well as completed the Form NJ-REG and FinCEN BOI Report (new as of this year, 2024). Am I missing any other critical initial filings?

I really do not know are you aware of wrong information that is you have LLC and separate acc that you will shield your personal assets? That is NOT TRU. In eyes of Federal law LLC is disregarded entity - so if you want that you should file for S crop or partnership but regular LLC if not different classification is made even with EIN does not exist as different entity to the IRS . So people if you need something to be done ask professional because even if you think that it is cheaper doing by your self believe me sometimes it is not true. You do not open business every day, pay expert to advise you and then decide.
