Lucio Corsiii 😍 Italians are so proud of you 🇮🇹
We don’t care about the placement, we care about your MAJESTIC path to get where you are. Nobody knew you just two weeks ago. Go on Lucio ❤🇮🇹
I am SO glad he’s representing Italy. Olly was okay but Lucio Corsi is such a special artist. I don’t even care if he doesn’t do especially well, he deserves the opportunity.
I Wanted to Be a Tough Guy”: An Anthem to Self-Acceptance Corsi’s song talks about the difficulty of adhering to a stereotypical model of masculinity, celebrating instead vulnerability and accepting one’s limits. Lines like “I wanted to be a tough guy, but I’m nobody, I wasn’t born with a tough face, I’m also afraid of the dark, if I get into fights I get beat up” have resonated deeply, going viral on social media. Many users have interpreted the song as a message against bullying, making it a manifesto for all those who feel outside the box
Guys, these are the lyrics of the song "Volevo essere un duro" translated in English: I Wanted to Be a Tough Guy Who doesn’t care about the future A robot A sumo wrestler A drug dealer running from a wolf dog At Bologna station A hen laying golden eggs But I am no one I wasn’t born with a tough guy’s face I’m even afraid of the dark If I get into a fight, I lose So they blacken my eyes with makeup But I never wasted time Time just left me behind [Chorus:] * Living life Is child’s play That’s what mom used to tell me As I fell down from trees How tough the world is For ordinary people Who have little love around them Or too much sun in their glasses * I wanted to be a tough guy Who doesn’t care about the future, no A robot Gold medal in spitting A mugger waiting for you in the dark The king of Porta Portese The magpie stealing your wedding ring [Chorus:] * Living life Is child’s play That’s what mom used to tell me As I fell down from trees How tough the world is For ordinary people Who have little love around them Or too much sun in their glasses * I wanted to be a tough guy But I am no one White belt in Judo Instead of a star, a sneeze The sunflowers with sunglasses told me “Be careful with the light” And that moons without craters Are just scams Because in the end, there’s no point in running From your fears [Chorus:] * Living life is child’s play… Etc. * I wanted to be a tough guy But I am no one I am nothing but Lucio I am nothing but Lucio" Hope you guys will like this song (which is very touching) as much as I do!
I haven't heard all the entries yet, but this is top 5. Good luck from the UK!
prepariamoci a una sfilza di reaction di gente che non si sogna minimamente di leggere il testo
I agree that probably this song could not compete with the cultural expectations of Eurovision audience. But, believe me, it has a strong vibe for Italian music lovers. It has a beautiful melody, meaning and Lucio Corsi Is really an unconventional artist. It will be hard to win but we are excited to see him representing Italy on ESC stage. This song will go over the final ranking position. 😊🇮🇹
One of the best Sanremo songs of the 21st century. Go Lucio go! Viva la Toscana!!!
I´m happy Lucio got it,he is a real artist, the lyrics are so poetic and interesting💖💖💖
Lucio Corsi arrived in second place with - 0,4%, , practically they were both winner. The Italian mainstream audience didn’t know who Lucio Corsi was and fell in love with him
We all love him ❤❤❤
This guy truly rocks. Fantastic lyrics and music.
"I Wanted to Be a Tough Guy" by Lucio Corsi: the lyrics I Wanted to Be a Tough Guy Who doesn't care about the future A robot A sumo wrestler A drug dealer on the run from a wolf dog(sheperd, like a police dog) At the Bologna station A goose that lays golden eggs But I'm nobody I wasn't born with a tough face I'm also afraid of the dark If I get into a fight I get beaten up So they paint my eyes black But I've never wasted time He's the one who left me behind Living life It's child's play Mom used to tell me and I fell down of the trees How hard is the world For normal people Who have little love around them Or too much sun in their glasses I Wanted to Be a Tough Guy Who doesn't care about the future no A robot Gold medal of spit The pickpocket(thief) who waits for you in the dark The King of "Porta Portese" The stealer-magpie who steals your faith! Living life It's child's play Mom used to tell me and I I fell down from the trees How hard is the world For the normal ones Who have little love around Or too much sun in their glasses I wanted to be tough But I'm nobody White Judo belt Instead of a star I'm a sneeze The sunflowers with glasses told me "Be careful of the light" And that moons without holes are scams Because in the end it's useless to escape from your fears Living life is child's play Me I wanted to be tough But I'm nobody I'm nothing but Lucio I'm nothing but Lucio (Lucio sound similar to LUCE that means light, and his name too derivated from world light,so it sound like he say "I'm nothing more than light" too.) ... I dont know if you noticed that he has wrote(in sanremo video)ANDY under the shoe, like the child of Toy Story.
The strenght of Lucio songs is in the lyrics, if you dont't read the translation , you can't grasp their meaning. Italy loves Lucio.
Se reagite dovete leggere il testo!!!!!!! In Italia questo conta e anche all'Eurovision dovreste imparare!
This song is really about being yourself and not a persona you created to look successful or important to the eyes of the people in your environment, but that doesn't correspond to your inner nature. Also, he sings, beware of people with a flawless image, because "moons without craters are a fraud". Being yourself is enough and this is where real success and happiness in life reside. This song is not a "product" written with the purpose of winning a competion (Sanremo or ESC) because, as Lucio says, music is not about competition. It is more the poetic and sincere expression of the author's inner world and aims to touch hearts, which is the most important win.
È un poeta. Consiglio ascoltare: sei tu il mattino - è meravigliosa 🎵 ciao
I’m italian and i’m really happy about Lucio Corsi. He represents a big part of our national music culture, our songwriting tradition. A successor of italian songwriters like Ivan Graziani and Lucio Dalla. Not a generic ballad
