'Protect your cell phone number. Go to this sight and give them your cell phone number'…lol

@theronwolf3296

When I was younger, almost everyone's name, address and phone number was in a big book that they gave out for free. It was a different world.

@earthoid

I typed in my number and was surprised at how much personal info is out there like SSN, DOB, last phone numbers and addresses from many years ago, and even names of relatives and their relationships to me! Cloaked implies that they can delete this data but I seriously doubt it.

@christ.4977

Having aliases should be a standard practice. It's nice to see a comprehensive service like this.

@Whalewraith

I didn't, have a cell phone or home phone or social media for the longest time. It used to be fun watching my boss get totally aggravated when he couldn't contact me.
Of course it got to the point several years ago where you couldn't do anything without being on line. I still miss being a ghost.

@John_Fugazzi

This is actually a brilliant solution to a real problem.

@gotbordercollies

I ignore calls. I can call them back if they leave a message (most don't).

@LetsGoChaseThatTrain

I've had my current cellphone number for 13 years. Yet I still continue to get texts for its previous owner.

N/A

I don't answer calls and text messages from numbers not in my contact.

@dfrozendog3849

Yeah, I keep getting sales calls from people like Edward, Joe Ann, Steven from local numbers all with heavy accents. I return a call to the number and it is some private person that has no idea what I am talking about.

@Michael_Lederman

Years ago I set up a Google Voice number and set it to forward to my home phone and cell phone. I only give out the GV number which allows to me to block calls and give custom messages if I desire.

@Pro1er

What a great idea for a company to get your cell phone number!

@lloydjones4191

Some sites block 3rd party email addresses and phone numbers.

@TheKliq4lyF3

I have two phones numbers,

One is my personal phone number. I change this one once a year....

The other one is unregistered, I keep it for my OTP & gaming....

@mingkee27

This is what "burner phone" used for

@ONLYINDADECOUNTY

Have you looked into this company personally? It appears that their privacy policy isn't exactly focused on privacy. Also the numbers available are UK numbers?

@acevirginian2203

I'm fed up I'm getting landline back.

@Zoom1Zoom2-ix5kr

In Europe there are 10 countries that allow phone SIM prepaid without ID , passport checking when buying.
Roaming in European Union means that you can use a SIM card with 5/ 20 GB depending on offer with any 5/ 20 Euros in any UE county.
Cheapest way to be online and safe.
A second dumb phone with 5 euro plan for calling is a must.

@erfelgamazig

I don't put my personal cell on social media, and a big "maybe" on relatives. Lots of social media ask you to share your contact list, so it's not private anymore.

@BeefyJ-pd8gv

Looks like a great product. I recently travelled with an esim which I purchased for 1 month. An esim and new mailbox is a simple alternative until cloaked is available in your region.
