And now that you proved you can make it, your MIL will have you make it every year from now on!!!😂
Wow your pronunciation of Lo bak go is so good
As a South Chinese from Guangzhou, your pronounciation and turnip cake looks amazing! Your husband and in-laws are lucky to have you!
Your Cantonese pronunciation is spot on! Happy New Year to your in-laws and you (if you celebrate :) ) and I hope you all have a wonderful festive time together
Love how your accent turns Cantonese
Of course! You made it! You so intensively understand flavors! Thank You! 🎉😊
Congratilations! Glad you will continue the family tradition! Thanks for sharing!😊
Ooooo, LBK, my favorite breakfast, either as you made it on the video or as chai tow kueh, which we cut up into smaller rectangular pieces and fry it with eggs and sweet soy sauce, and other stuff. Gonna have to try this recipe for sure. Thanks so much, Pailin! ❤
Looks like a lovely savoury dish, your husband and MIL are so lucky
Turnip cake is definitely an acquired taste. I am a die hard foodie that pretty much likes everything but lutefisk but am attached to a family that is so so picky about EVERYTHING that they just aren't fun to cook for. I can't even stand going out to restaurants with them. Anyway, I might try this recipe because it intrigues me. Happy New Year to all of you and may we have peace in the world for 2024.
This is why you are a gem.
This dish is sooooo good ❤❤❤
the cantonese mind is my dads side of the family’s favorite. sooo good
Wow!!!❤❤❤❤. Again! I learn something new every time I watch your channel!!
Looks super good. My grandma used to make it and I didn’t like it at first but as I grew older I started to like it.
Your Cantonese pronunciation is pretty spot on.
