I am working on getting Spanish under my belt which is a challenge at my age. This is a great channel to pick up some of their Spanish as it is small sentences and they don't speak it so fast. Most of the Spanish language channels I watch they blow me out of the water. My favorite is De mi Rancho a Tu Cocina. A lovely abuela making traditional recipes on her huge wood fired comal. Most of the episodes only have Spanish subtitles which I use to help me try to catch a bit of her very fast Spanish. It does help that I do know a lot of food ingredient names lol.

i love susana for the way she feels so pasionate about her language and culture, she is also like very calming somehow😭

But there's much more, I need them to try Mongolian food, Afghani, Nepalese, buran food, Malaysian, Indonesian food both Muslim and Hindu as well as indigenous, Sri Lankan, Kazakh, tajik, sichuanese, Uzbek, Yakut, and other Siberian Asian foods, south Indian foods, manipuri, Bangladeshi, laos, Cham, Hmong, Iranian, there's a lot of Asian foods that they missed that are so interesting that they could try! And I bet I even missed a few. Quite a few! And being Korean, these aren't the real good Korean foods that we in Korea live and cherish. It's too bad they didn't get to try some of the regional foods from jejudo, or the eastern provinces, the different side dishes and have them with rice, because they way you had them try these foods don't do them justice. because Ssam, with pork belly, and fresh vegetables would have been my recommendation, and fresh sweet kimchi, because it's not fermented, and the different jeotgal, and seafood! And north Korean traditional dishes, rice cakes and royal dishes are so good! And even just salted fish and rice! It's simple but so good! And our holiday foods and rice crackers! It's too bad that they didn't get to try the best of Korea! They just got Seoul food street food, the food everyone tries.

You know what idea I just had that I think would taste REALLY good, naeng myeon, but instead of the usual toppings and broth, put aqua chiles instead and the packet if naeng Myron soup base to taste.....omg that would actually taste so good, with mariscos. And shaved ice that's fine like snow! With crunchy sea grapes on top....omg I need that NOW!
