So comforting to see the pros doing what i have been doing for years , and not sure what im doing , there is my last few titles out of about 300 , if it pulls me over i jot them down , still dont use them much but others have in the past .

• The door between us
• I don't think you can / we can
• That's what lovers do
• E=mc2
• Need to rewind
• Half day Wednesday
• Playing with your worries
• Somebody's princess
• Best side out

Best of luck to ye all , its a journey we share .

@MitchTolnay

“The statue is already in the stone” is the phrase you were looking for my bro. Thanks for a great video ❤

@yan1232

Shane's class was one of the most useful I've ever taken. Thank you so much for making this happen Studio. Highly recommend it to anyone! (Btw this guy has a big chunk of the hit's songwriting credits)
Also, "Second"

@annmarie3573

Laying in the bed of my own making,
Burdened by the heart of my own breaking,
Your love laid bare and mine for the taking,
But I let it pass me by.

Reaching out for you at every waking.
How can my hardness cause such painful aching?
Happiness, I can't help but forsaking.
I made this bed, and here I lie.

@Bigfootsquatch

Some of the best songwriting advice I have heard. Thank you

@tartanservices574

he has a wonderful nurturing gift as a teacher

@milesdowsett3532

That’s probably the most insightful description on the songwriting process I’ve ever seen! So actionable. Thanks for sharing ❤

@MeghanProctor-qf8qd

“Yes” in Yesterday makes me think of someone changing their mind. Maybe getting stood up at the altar 😂 I think that’s a country song

@DatsunMan80

That was so inspiring. I carry my phone everywhere but rarely do I jot down those phases that, for me, also come about from misheard words. I jotted a note down while listing to this and vacuuming the house 😂 Thanks!

@tartanservices574

Theres a yes in yesterday but there's a terd as well
It depends on where you're looking and depends on what you smell

@rupertcaney

This is great, such good insights thanks for the video 👏

@DuPE.

Great video man, I feel the same way 'bout everything 👊🏾

@adamcasanovamusic

so insightful. it's like, how is this free??

@wyldz643

Cake of my own baking was what came to my mind. Guess I'm hungry.

@britneywinland6721

this is awesome !!!!!!!

@mycustompaintedlife502

I always feel like I keep defaulting to the same damn subject regardless of how I intend to make a song. I also tend to come up with so many rhymes as I am humming, singing and thinking…they tend to be too many rhymes and I hear a lot of songs lately which no rhyme

@davemiha

Beautiful.

@Xayne...

SHANE!!!!!!!!¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@kevinbourque1037

In a room without windows, its hard to see the light. On a day with no wind, its hard to fly a kite. A man with no teeth might find it hard to take a bite. And a man with no eyeball will never have good sight. But there's one thing I know, and sure you know I'm right, yoga pants look bad if they don't fit really tight.
