Hi Prof. Siegel, thanks for the informative video. I'd like to know specifically what is the impact of migration of healthcare professionals on the healthcare systems of origin countries in the short and long term? I've read that low health worker density contributes to poorer health outcomes especially in maternal and child health. Is there any argument or data that supports a positive impact of health worker emigration on healthcare systems of source countries and does this impact outweigh the negative? Thanks.
