It makes me happy to see that Laurie finally got a good ending for once. In every other timeline, her story ended tragically. This time, she can live in peace knowing that Michael is truly gone.

@bq1ley

I love how the ending parallels the original movie. The original movie, Michaels body gone, as it shows around the house with his breathing. And in Halloween kills, it ends showing around the house again, but this time, his breath is gone, showing he’s truly dead.

@Prettyboii_hustling

Evil doesn’t die… it changes SHAPE . Best quote ever heard Michael may be gone but his evil lives forever 🔥

@km.scrivo

The ending really hits, I mean just the whole stillness and silence of the house, with the light hint of birdsong from the outside casts that message of, it is over.

@HaileyTerranova-d9z

The song at the end is (Don’t Fear) The Reaper by Blue Oyster cult is the extract same song Laurie and Annie we’re listening to in the car on their way to go babysitting. It’s almost like the song knew what lies ahead and resume back in her life. The justice all the victims deserve and evil is gone.

@peytoncard330

Man Allyson really went through a lot she lost both of her parents and ex boyfriend and all of her friends to Michael. The girl went through a lot .

@allysanchez5630

Wherever Allyson is going, I just hope she’s happy.

@kevinmclaughlin2594

In case no one knows the significance to the ending song being Don't Fear The Reaper let me explain. In the original 1978 Halloween there is a scene where Laurie is in her friend Annie's car and Michael is following them in his car. If you listen closely you can hear that song playing on Annie's car radio, kinda a spooky foreshadowing. Kind of fitting it be the last song to play at the end.

@davidarellano9931

Halloween Ends… Ends. I love it

@basiczachh3978

i’m so happy we got a peaceful ending

@johnmartinez7846

I don’t want to sound crazy, but from 2:47-2:53 you can hear a person inhale and exhale twice. It’s very VERY hard to hear, but I know it’s there. Not sure if it’s a subtle way of the movie hinting that Corey is still alive, since having Michael breathing at the end of the film was a sign that HE was still alive. Let me know if you guys hear it too

@timbo8885

Ending legit had me crying

@TheShapeKills22

It's not a happy ending, because there's nothing to celebrate, her daughter is dead, her friends are dead, her grandaughter left Haddonfield... but it's a hopeful one, and at least, she can have a drop of peace with Frank!

I love you, Laurie Strode!

@harleycazinha5385

Frank & Laurie
Together4Ever

@Moozy6602

I like how you can still see the damage in Laurie's Kitchen from the final fight between Michael and herself at 2:46. The two stab marks in the table the dent in the fridge door the cabinet door window still smashed, I love to spot little details like that....

@xx-rm6or

frank and laurie were the light in this whole franchise 😭

@brendakeen1748

We got Halloween evil lives (2023)

@Bighossss
