“Titanium blades! They cut through diamonds!” “….I’m not wearing any diamonds!”
"I've been like a father to you! I raised you, just like your father did! I believed in you, just like your father did! I slept with your mother, just like your father did!" always kills me
It's a fair assessment, but there's one thing I can't agree with. Leslie Nielsen saying "don't forget the bitches" is GOLD
Fun fact: Here in Brazil, Superhero Movie was kinda of a hit. So, when Disaster Movie came out, the marketing team for the movie changed the the title to Superhero Movie 2: The Injustice League. A lot of people (me and my older sister included) went to movies thinking that we're going to see the sequel to that funny movie with the actor from Drake and Josh. Instead, we got...Disaster Movie...
The idea that Drake Bell‘s character is supposed to be a parody of Spider-Man with a parental tragedy similar to Batman is just a bit of genius
Top 3 2000s Movie Movies: 1. Scary Movie 2. Not Another Teen Movie 3. Superhero Movie
Im disappointed we never got Movie Movie.
I'd also rate Scary Movie 3 pretty high on the Movie Movie totem pole. "You know your teacher, Brenda?" "Yes?" "SHE'S DEAD!" screams "Gone forever! Died in a horrible, painful death! Gone! Gone! Gone! Just like your dog!" "My dog's dead!?" "I just ran him over with the car when I drove in! Everyone you love around you is dying!"
Sorry, but Lesley Nielsen saying "don't forget the bitches" is one of the most funniest things 😂
I seriously want an entire movie about the Hourglass. A supervillain who HAS to kill someone everyday just to survive? That could be freaking AWESOME!
There are a few things I will give credit to this movie for: 1:It actually had a story and wasn’t just references 2:There were actually a few laughs in this one 3:It felt like it was at least TRYING!
Fun fact: the actor that played the robber that killed Ricks parents is the same that shot uncle Ben in the Raimi films
Fun Fact: Drake Bell's character is mostly based on Spider-Man. A few years after this movie he voiced Spider-Man in the TV series Ultimate Spider-Man and shares the same birthday as Tobey Maguire, the original Spider-Man.
I think one of my favorite jokes is when they start noticing each other's injuries "How'd you get that cut?" "Met a girl on Craigslist. How'd you get THAT cut??" "Met a GUY on Craigslist"
I grew up with both Scary Movie and this one. Those were the " My Mom didnt know what they were when she bought them and later we were forbidden to watch, but me and my siblings watched it on my sisters laptop with a DVD tray built in after she (Mom) went to sleep(yes it was THAT old)"
I unironically loved this movie as a kid. It had just enough laughs without being completely filled with cringey/bad jokes. I forgot how much I loved that "This just in, Tom Cruise is dead." (Couldn't fly)
9:46. Trivia note, the Tom Cruise actor in this movie is Miles Fischer, whom was in Final Destination 5 & has done multiple song parodies of movies & shows.
The guy who played the mugger who kills Rick's parents is the SAME GUY who played Uncle Ben's killer in Spider-Man!
To quote the Late great Norm MacDonald and Something i'm sure Tracy Morgan might be thinking about right now is “Stand-up has the best writers because it’s the hardest writing by a million miles.”
