We, too, adore the James Herriot books in the All Creatures Great and Small series. I read them as a lad, and I read them to my daughters at their bedtime. I am just now reading the first book again, for comfort reading. My oldest daughter, now grown and living miles away, just told me she, too, is comfort-reading the first book again. We are kindred spirits, sir! Thank for this, I’ve shared both of yours with my family. More would be wonderful! By the way, the latest TV series, All Creatures Great and Small, is a beauty! Again, thank you! Your sleep stories are comfort-sleeping!
