I'm glad I found this little gem! It's been decades since I have seen it! They used to play it on TV every Saint Patrick's Day in the 60s and 70s and I used to watch every year! πŸ’šπŸ€β˜˜οΈπŸ’šπŸ€β˜˜οΈπŸ’šπŸ€β˜˜οΈπŸ’šπŸ€β˜˜οΈπŸŒˆ

I dont think I’ve ever seen this one and I’m 73, thanks for recording it.

@ginnylorenz5265

Even tho I own the DVD, I can't resist stopping to take another peek into this darling, enchanting, magical world. Thanks for posting it!!

@cherylwhite8445

Pure whimsy. I love to go back to a black and white 1940s film with the sweet, saccharine violins. It's a lovely escape.

@charlessomerset9754

Irish stories all have a lyrical, nostalgic patina. My luck is that this showed up in my video algorithm.

@chefbink61

To bad they can't seem to make movies like this anymore! It was just wonderful!!!

@bcrater6400

The old inn keeper and the leprechaun steal every scene they're in....priceless.

@marymayer2282

"I offered you gold, 'tis not my fault that you prefer a pebble."

@ElicLlewellyn

What's wonderful about this movie is though tempted by wealth and materialism the protagonist takes a different path. In the end, love and spiritual values prevail

@debbieellett9093

Very refreshing to see a classic! Back when entertainment was clean without blood and gore. The actors and scenes brought the story to life, and not CGI. Thank you for sharing this gem of a movie!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

@mordechai-

"G-d keep step with you." I like that blessing. A very nice way to say goodbye. I wonder if I can incorporate it into my speech.

@JickyWolf-c1b

So thankful I found this darling movie, I've seen it before and I'll watch it again, and again. πŸ€

@marieparrott7944

Why oh why can’t we have more movies with this kind of magic and nostalgia ❀

@Filmbuf-g2k

Really enjoyed this, especially Cecil Kellaway as Horace.πŸ˜‚

@carmenfoote7999

A delightful Irish tale with a warm and kindly leprechaun and an Irish lass who made Tyronne Power see the light. A pure fun movie to watch. Thanks for the post. Joe S

@DelvingEye

I'm 71 and a movie lover, and cannot believe I've never seen this wonderful film. "Brigadoon" and "The Quiet Man" are two of my favorites about Ireland. I'll be adding this to the list. Lovely!:face-blue-smiling:

This has been one of my favorite classic movies since I first watched it as a child (over 56 years ago). I used to watch it every St. Patrick’s Day, but it became impossible to find. I haven’t seen it in years! Thank you for posting it. What a wonderful Christmas present!

@BarbaraBates-r8f
