hmm...no. A BDC etched glass, with magnifier that can be used when needed(detatchable optic magnifier), and the glass can be used to shoot supressive at 2000m and more, will produce a system that is better for the gunner, and the soldiers they are protecting with said fire. This is already invented btw, but it seems us army wont use it. I know, because I have used it, and had zero problems doing very accurate gunnery with it, or supressive fire when needed. And that is just one sight module, not multiple. But each to our own I guess.
