I know that everyone was kind of expecting a super sad and emotional performance because of the song's role in the musical but I actually enjoy the more upbeat and happy version of the song, probably because that works better for a duet version. It's more like two jilted girls coming together, sharing their experiences and finding comfort and happiness in the assurance that they aren't alone rather than one girl wallowing in her own heartbreak all alone because there's nobody there to make her pain any better.

THIS SONG MAKES ME SO SAD BUT THIS MADE ME SO HAPPY AT THE SAME TIME

@renstrange8443

Sure this version doesn't have the same emotion, but it's still unique and well-done.

@JulieDelahooke

I love the twist on this! Not appropriate for the musical, but for a cover it's great ❤️

@abialston8476

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BOTH OF THESE LADIES SO MUCH

@samipopcornpup9161

Yeah, if you could just do me a favor and make an "Out Of Oz" album, I'd be so happy I could melt!

LOOK AT THE WAY KARA LOOKS AT RACHEL

@PianoDisneygal10

I actually like this arrangement. I feel like it still captures the bitterness and sadness of the original, somehow.

@zacharytelfer1607

I'm all about a Wicked acoustic album...

@DarthxErik

I imagine this is sung from the perspective of two girls who had the same crush on the same guy, but who are like sisters, and aren't going to let their feelings over a guy get between them...or from hoping that there's better men out there. It's like the two stepsisters watching Cinderella dance with the Prince at the ball.

Very different take. I don't entirely hate it, but it's an interesting take.

@NataszaParzymies

Rachel is incredible!

@rosepratiwi6532

I just knew this talented lady Rachel Tucker and now I'm trying to search all videos about her because something about her is special. Her voice, her smile, her british (or Irish) accent. I love her.

This is absolutely beautiful. Hadn't heard of these two singers, their voices made me want to hear more.

@Christolphi

I saw them as Elphaba and Glinda in 2015 and let me tell you they are stellar!

@cch5ng

I don't remember this song as well as the others from the original broadway recordings. but I feel that Tucker and Lindsay's voices really complement each other so well. also I feel the emotional tone of this song is sympathetic to a female who feels unrequited love. it is just a quiet sadness but it is still emotional.
