the air’s $100 price cut is HUGE. these are super popular for students (who also get another $100 off!!) $899 for an m4 air is a STEAL
1:32 i just realized it says AIR on the wallpaper
Still using an M1 Max chip and loving it. These M-series chips are incredible, they aren’t aging and it makes it a no-brainer to recommend used and refurbished M-series MacBooks.
First verge video i have watched in a while and i have to say this guys presentation style is a big improvement...makes me want to watch more.
Really good reviewer. Doesn't feel like he's reading auto que just chatting to the viewer about the product. Very clear, very down to earth. Get this guy doing all the video reviews 👍🏼
Local LLMs seem like the most obvious use case for that much RAM
The m chips are great. I bought the m2 flavor in 2022. I won’t replace until 2032 at the earliest.
I think this came at least 12 mins before the embargo
Good vibes in this video
Wow, Apple really blue it...
First thing that came to mind for using a half TB of RAM is running higher parameter LLMs locally.
The engineering and production expenses for this design thats been used for a few models have long since been amortized into the massive volume of units they've put out... a price cut isn't crazy and I'm glad it's happening.
It's great that Apple isnt selling the M3 at $999. Finally the Apple product lineup made a bit of sense! That is until M3 Ultra released... So close to a unified product lineup!
That baby blue color 🔥🔥
I’m satisfied with my M1 MBP with 32GB ram. I’m wait for a M7 MBP with 64 or 128GB ram and a lot more GPU cores.
Loving that Seiko!
Starting to regret buying the M2 MacBook Air two months ago! Bought it for college, then this comes out. Practically would’ve been paying the same for the M4
I would have Deep Seek running locally for all of my AI needs, and I would be experimenting with fine tuning my own LLM's. As someone who lives in the data science world, the possibilities are pretty endless with 512GB VRAM.
4:21 Please share the make and model of the watch you’re wearing. Very nice watch. Thanks!
