Expensive. I feel like this phone would've been an amazing deal if it had been $399 or $449 rather than $599. Because then the shortcomings could be overlooked and forgiven considering there are some decent upgrades. I do think Apple missed an opportunity to bring back the 12/13 mini design to make an SE 4 that could have realistically hit the $449 or $499 price point.

Imagine paying close to $700 dollars, and apple still doesn’t give you a 120Hz refresh rate, or heck, even a 90hz screen would’ve been acceptable. The Samsung A54 and A55 both had 120Hz at only $5oo. The fact that apple still keeps that behind a “luxury” pay wall is ridiculous

Weirdly this is probably the best iPhone of them all right now :) Not in terms of specs, but the purity and simplicity. Something that maybe even Steve Jobs would approve. Sure it's still too big, but the cameras don't poke out by 3 additional milimeters, not as heavy as the "premium" steel/titanium models, it's lovely.

Very torn. On one hand it’s new so attractive albeit the lack of many features and high price. You are almost better off buying a renewed Amazon iPhone 12, and having the battery replaced. You’d get the wide angle camera and mag safe while saving a couple hundred bucks. You’d still have the notch and get the lightning cable back but I’d be okay with that.

I feel like they would’ve made an SE 4 in the style of the iPhone XR if it wasn’t for the EU. Because they did have to make a new frame to accommodate a USB-C plus the glass to accommodate a singular camera module.

Thanks for the Video. Here's how I see it. The 16 was not worth the upgrade from a 15 to me at the time but now its about 1.5 years old and with the 16e's lower price and trade in (before the 17's come out) for $200.00 its worth the upgrade for a brand new phone under warranty. Better processor, tiny bit smaller & lighter, and bigger battery. Mag Safe means nothing to me and truthfully the camera never seemed to focus well on my 15. Got mine today, we will see. If no good, I can always get the 17 and and sell the 16e with 6 months remaining on the warranty. One thing about the iPhone is if you keep them perfect, they hold their value.

Hey Techdaily, here is my opinion on the Iphone 16E, I think that the reason Apple made this phone is to trap anndroid users in the ecosystem heres why, there are some ppl who would want to switch however they wouldnt want a used old iphone they probably want an iphone thats got all the bells and features along with software support and a cheap iphone at that. This phone is just a new version of a iPhone XR, my first iPhone was the iPhone XR I loved it. It was my favorite iPhone! I miss it, I now have the iPhone 16 plus! This phone was priced at $599.00 on purpose. Most people don’t or won’t use the pro features anyway, it’s a simple phone the pro features is really not important because people probably won’t use the pro features anyway like I said I think it is a perfect phone and the price it good.

I'll get it if it comes with a deal like I did with the 2022 iphone SE. I only spent $89 on that one and it is great for less than $100. My only complaint about the SE is the battery.

just as what other people say, i do think that they're only selling this just to entice people to get a normal iphone 16. they do this thing with the macbook pro all the time. also, i have a feeling that the resell value for this would drop so low so quickly. the SE doesn't hold their value well and this could easily have the same image as the iphone 5c
