Cheesy Garlic Bread

Ingredients:
1 - 1lb French bread loaf
1.5 stick of butter, salted, room temperature
2 bulbs of garlic
1 Tbsp fresh minced parsley + more for garnish
1 tsp red pepper flakes
2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
8oz Mozzarella, freshly shredded
Olive oil - as needed
Salt and pepper TT

Directions:

Cut the tops off two bulbs of garlic. Drizzle on olive oil making sure to fully coat the tops then sprinkle on some salt. Wrap tightly with foil and bake in 350° F oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Allow to cool.

To a bowl add the room temperature butter, squeeze in roasted garlic, add fresh minced parsley, red pepper flakes and salt and pepper to taste. Mash the garlic and mix everything well.

Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise then spread on your roasted garlic butter mixture.

Place about 6 inches under the broiler for five minutes until golden and crispy.

Remove from oven (at this time set you oven to 350°F) Sprinkle on the Parmesan and cover with all the mozzarella.

Bake in a 350° oven on the upper/middle rack for 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese is just starting to golden.

Slice and serve with your favorite dipping sauce (I love marinara).

Enjoy!

It's funny, I was actually looking for videos of how most people can make that five cheese garlic bread but better. You know that premade store brought stuff? Well the idea I had was just melt butter for 90 seconds, put diced or dried garlic or at the very least Garlic powder in the melted butter. Then I pour it on my bread slices. After that, I top it with shredded cheese. Then I toast it for about 6-8 minutes. Once I do that, then do I put Parsley on it or at least diced chives. Then I sit back and enjoy. Here lately I've made it a point not to buy premade food from the store unless it's a specific kind. Like with Lasagna, we get the premade in the deli. No longer getting the frozen lasagna. Mostly we just make it at home. The same goes for Garlic cheese bread. I don't think it's hard to do. We just have different methods of doing it. But I think anyone can make Garlic cheese bread better than the premade store brought kind. It's not too hard to do. That's a fact.

@AnistonSmith2005

Would you still roast the garlic for an hour and 15 minutes if the bulbs are smaller?
