Andrew Lloyd Webber made this in 1985. But the actual piece is far older. In original Latin: "Pie Iesu" is a text from the final couplet of the hymn "Dies irae", I believe it goes a couple of hundred years back at least. But it was also popular in the early parts of the previous century.
