This movie is without a doubt the most underrated court drama of all time. I am glad you reacted to it hopefully other reactors would follow your example and get this movie the status it deserves.

Anthony Hopkins does play a good bad guy. So good you almost want to cheer for him for the brilliance of the character he plays so well even if he is a bad guy. If that makes sense. But, another good role that you want to see him in is the suspenseful movie The Edge (1997). He plays a good guy in that one. Alec Baldwin also does a good job in that one.

If your quest is for great Anthony Hopkins films, after SILENCE OF THE LAMBS (which you have already seen) you are going to want to check out David Lynch's ELEPHANT MAN for one of his earliest performances and Steven Spielberg's AMISTAD Both are on my top ten lists for their eras. This one is pretty good too. But the two I am recommending are better.

Great movie when I saw it. Another great movie with Anthony Hopkins that is excellent is from 1976 called "Magic" I would love to see you guys react to this thriller.
