I was fortunate enough to be flagging at Sebring for the MX-5 race in 21. There was initially silence because no one believed what had happened and then an absolute roar from the fans realizing that they witnessed history. That 2013 Indy Lights race is one of those finishes that never gets old. The Ironic thing is that Peter Dempsey was the only driver in the top 5 of that year's Freedom 100 finish NOT to make it to IndyCar.
Indycar Portland 1997 was the most insane one as that was 3 wide for the win on an open wheeler road course in the wet! Blundell and Boesel (who came from nowhere as Blundell was blocked and defended on the last lap) caught De Ferran at 5 seconds + a lap as they came in for dry tyres. De Ferran had such a big lead in the wet that he opted to try hang on and it ended up 3 wide.
Top notch compilations as always!
Hope you do favorite motorsport moment 2023
I've never heard a commentator be as incredulous as "You're joking, PiqUERAS WON?"
Imagine f1 had photo finishes frequently
Notice how F1 will never have this happen again
Awesome video
You forgot the 1997 ARCA Reeses 400k
Bring back the freedom 100 :D
DTM 2017 Norisring race 2, Mortara vs Wittman vs Ekström (don't remember to the gap).
And now we've got a genuine 0.000 finish in F2)
On the outside of 3 wide racing on corners 3 and 4 at indy and stays completely even? 😮
SHOWS ME HOW F*&^%ING BORING THIS SPORT CALLED NASCAR HAS GOTTEN..
