"Do u want to be right or do u want to be happy?" Best sentence!!!
There should be a class in school where we just watch Ted talks all day.
Leaving this here. Whenever someone likes this comment I’ll come back to this lesson
He really didnt take it personally, in presenting to such a Dull audience. Bravo sir, you proved your point
“People may attack you, criticise you, or ignore you. They can crumple you up with their words, spit you out, or even walk all over you. But remember, whatever they do or say, you will always keep your value.”
YouTube : recommends that Me : taking it personally
"Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know absolutely nothing about. Be kind. Always." -Robin Williams (1951-2014)
I cried when he said "No matter what people say, you will always keep you value." Hit me like a ton of bricks.
He seems to be a nice person. Like in reunion, he's the type of uncle you want to sit by with and talk about life.
One of my bad habits is that I take things very personally. I know this isn’t good; if someone doesn’t reply with the same energy when I ask a question, I feel affected. I’m working on it, and, insha’Allah, I will improve myself. Another issue I’ve identified is that I give too much attention to everyone I talk to. I talk a lot, am easily convinced by others, and am always ready to help. As a result, I sometimes lose my value in their eyes. I’ve learned that it’s important to first respect and value yourself. By doing this, you won’t need others’ support to survive in the world. Love yourself first and don’t take things personally.
All the dislikes are from people who took this TED talk personally

A very wise woman once said "people dont do things TO us, they do things FOR themselves"
The crowd sucks... his speech is great, he’s funny, authentic. He deserved more recognition
"Whatever they do or say, you will always keep your value." Words for the wise.
I'm aware this video is quite old, but I hope the speaker acknowledges that he is enough and he is amazing at what he does. Even this speech. The truths he acknowledges, his awareness in the situation, his transparency. Instead of assuring us of a sure fire quick way to improve, he's showing us reality. Thank you :face-red-heart-shape:
Me wondering if he was upset that not many laughed. Then I remember he’s probably good at not taking things personally.
He explained it to us like we are fifth graders and that’s exactly what I needed; a good break down and understanding of each part. This was beautiful
