I couldn’t understand this as a Christian in 2016. I watched the church people that I knew all my life love this man and his beliefs. I saw them change. I stepped back and started to deconstruct my faith. It’s an amazing life that I have now. Truly free from religion.

They have a new and improved orange American Jesus now

@bobotea6654

Absolutely true and beautifully said. The prime example of hypocrites.

@maxtennyson_6754

Hi. Your channel came up in my feed and I appreciate the highlighting of hypocrisy of US Christians who support Trump. I'm a very "imperfect" Christian myself, flawed, hypocritical, etc, but I'm still affronted and dismayed with the "misappropriation" of the Christian identity/message by these US Christian nationalists and others, and anyone with a modicum of biblical understanding or intellect can see Trump's true nature. It says a lot to me - and the irony is profound - that some of the most truthful content I have found on this matter, has come from an atheistic source. I'm guessing we have fundamental differences of faith/belief, but in terms of highlighting fraudulent "Christian" actors and the cult of Trump, I thank you. Your voice is one of the few that I have come across that is making sense of this Trump / Christian connection. Cheers.

@feedingravens

I am german and received 10 years of catholic classes (or protestant/ethics just came up) in public school, but my family was largely areligious.

And the religious classes were more "that is what is written there", history of (christian) religion and ethics/philosophy than indoctrination.

We spoke for weeks about narcissism, an ideal preparation to look behind Trump's mask instantly.

From that I took that Jesus' teachings are about humility, about awareness of your own fallibility, leading to tolerance, REALLY listening to what others says (they may know more than you, their situation might not be one that you thought of), respect, compassion, mercy, forgiving, helping others.

And in the extremist US christians I see the EXACT opposite.

Their belief in the all-powerful God makes them superior, makes them OWN The Truth and Morality, gives them the authorization to judge all others.

And God's judgement is irrefutable, not to be questioned.

Funny is that they would instantly tell you about their humility and love for all.

It was these US christians that made me admit I was a-religious all my life anyhow, and now speak it out.

The idea that these people are way more convinced that they execute (lol) God's word perfectly, have their place in Heaven booked, that I could meet them up there and have to deal with them eternally is too much.

@Alphqwe

Hypocrisy, the most sacred True Christen(TM) moral value.

@clydebridger1379

Isn't there a verse in the Bible that says "beware of false prophets"?

@darkeyed.lowlander

Anti christs worshipping an Anti Christ...

@PREPFORIT

Do not be concerned about the trump be concerned about the millions of weak minded people that voted for him.

@vls3771

Left our penticostal church years ago big money coming in and going out of it ...never heard any updates on missions work support for local homeless shelters or food banks no organised visits to children's cancer hospitals no support to lonely eldery ...Nothing ...but the pastors house doubled in size while many in the church struggled.

@barth9580

I grew up in the southern Baptist church and they were always on the lookout for the anti-christ and the end of the world then when a perfect candidate shows up and they worship him! Make it make sense.

@alexw4482

They don’t actually read the damn thing, that would require literacy. They just cherry pick quotes they like.

@jennnewman6444

The hypocrisy is blatant!!

@Kenneth-p6j

They are effing pharisee hypocrites.

@jameswalker7880

Not All of us Christians voted Trump.. In fact some of us see him as an antiChrist!!

@bokhans

Simple, they never ever read the Bible. They don’t even understand that follow the teachings of Christ is what’s called Christianity!

@rashadthewealthcoach

Nothing but facts.

@alanhilder1883

Their bible claims that Jesus ( Christ ) was a man without sin.
They claim "The 2nd coming" is a man who has tried and enjoyed almost all those sins, an Anti-christ.

@nealfager8126

Anything anyone does every day will break, a law, or commandment,or something Jesus or Paul said, many times a day!
