Sadly, that Gaeltacht is nearly extinct today, linguistically-speaking. Even in Ceathrú Thaidhg, Eachléim, and An Fál Mór English is the dominant community language now, and the number of children being raised with Irish as their first language is less than fifty (50!) in the entire region.
