if you're old enough when you escape them, there's really no "forward" left anymore. Being alone forever is still better than being with someone that horrible. But it's still a pretty depressing place to be overall.

He is blocked on every form of social media, he can't call me, he cannot text me. The very last thing I said to him was "I don't want you in my life in any capacity". I wasn't emotional about it I didn't have to get dramatic I was just stating a fact. I'm sure he will be back or try in some way, but I keep watching these videos and I keep praying and I have a wonderful support system.

Going no contact is a huge lick on their ego. Also me accepting that it’s over scares them. I settled in after being discarded for somebody else and was comfortable with the situation. I told her it was early but I was getting an attorney not to file but so I could be ahead of any potential paperwork and stuff like that. I’m a notorious planner. That DID NOT sit well with her. I got two mild Hoovers but they were Hoovers nonetheless. It’s a tough game but worth it when you go all in.

Absolutely true. Go forward, leave the narcisists in the past and close that past chapter in the book of your life. Getting to the mountain top of indifference is a beautiful place to arrive at.
