I wish I had the help as I have suffered with Panic/Anxiety Disorder for 13+years and had 8 sessions of Psychology in 2009/2010 and when this finished, I was told I would not get it again as it didn't have an effect/help on me, and I would not work again. Years went by and on 2018 my symptoms got worse where I had to give up work and now, I'm house bound and only If I had the past treatment I ask for. So I struggled, in 2021 Psychology spoke with me again very briefly on couple of sessions and that was that no help at all, but to get a 11+yrs of no support with mental health I thought was pretty bad. I got very worried about my symptom's and I ask my GP if I could see a Neurologist but was refused but eventually on May 2022 I got a appointment, I was then diagnosed with FND, and I wondered all that time without help I wonder has the Panic/Anxiety Disorder caused the FND, but I went away from the appointment feeling optimistic I would now get some help for the new diagnosis as some treatment is similar. How wrong I was, still no Mental Health treatment and no FND help as there is no help in my area so, so much for this awareness and not to sit quiet and suffer, telling us all to shout out for help, this is pointless. So I will prob sit in house and struggle the next 11/12 yrs that's if I last that long.
