PRAYING Norman Reedus voices him! It would just work too well and Kirkman loves casting his friends from TWD. Like Glenn is Mark, Aaron is Rudy, Ezekiel is Black Samson, Maggie, Sasha, Morgan & Abraham were members of the Guardians Of The Globe, and Negan is about to be either Conquest or Thragg!!! Plus, Norman is a biker. I feel like he has to play this role of an alien biker with hus badass unique gun… like cmon now… it’s perfect🤣 In my recent rereading of the comics over the last month or so, I actually imagined Daryl‘s voice during all of Space Racers lines and it works too damn well. I think his chemistry would work great with Seth Rogen and JK Simmons. If you read the comics, you know what I’m talking about. Not to sound corny but Norman’s “aura” fits the character of Space Racer so well. It will honestly be a huge missed opportunity if they don’t. Also, Space Racer is a semi-important character who sticks around occasionally appearing until the final issues. So it’s not like Norman or his agent would be signing on for a small role.

I remember the first time I read the comics and the infinity ray was used to start an attack on a planet which I thought was very impressive but blowing up a star with a single shot is even more so. Also I wouldn't exactly compare the Space Racer to Lobo since Space Racer is a calm individual who only uses the infinity ray as often as he needs to while Lobo would probably use such a weapon all the time if possible because he's a maniac.

If the infinity ray can destroy a star, but only destabilize Viltrum's core temporarily, then Viltrum is no ordinary planet. Mark and Omniman destroying it by flying through it is way more impressive now.
