Powerful movie. Very touching. It reminds me of me and how I was forced to grow up and care for my siblings and by the time I looked back, I was robbed of my childhood time. I don't know what's like to be a kid. I'm so very proud of Kilani. I wish all kids grow to take education very seriously. A plus 10 for this movie.🎉❤🎉

W/ her mother losing one child to Harlem & almost another, you'd think she'd want at least one to take every opportunity offered to get herself out of the slums! I'm proud Kelani wanted more for her future family. Even respecting herself enough to dump the boys who were only interested in playing around. She was smart enough to keep her eyes on the prize & YALE was, in her mind, her ticket to everything she aimed for.😻😻
