@AuthorLHollingsworth

Tamia, is one of the most underrated R&B artist. Her music got me through do much in the 90's and early 2000's. Love her voice, and style!

@badd.lil.ting88

This was a sanging seminar. I haven’t enjoyed an awards show like this in a long time.

@MrRc2

Holy shit Can we talk about how the band was holding down the whole show!!

@dominiquesperspective

This show reminds me of how great the BET Awards USED to be.

@jray5579

I'm angry I had to find out about this show on YouTube. But beyond that This show made me happy to be black even more. It was a great show highlighting people that mean something to us. There are many artists who touched our hearts that will never get the recognition they deserve. This show is doing that. I literally was smiling the whole time. When they were singing Every day people I was on my feet hands high waving singing in my living room with my eyes tearing up. I can't remember the last time I felt that way. Thank you my people I love yall. This was fantastic I will be checking for it from here on out.

@laineypooh3171

Freddie Jackson was one of the most popular artist in the 80s he kept the hits coming. So glad they honored him.

@tashacosey7306

Who else love being black👌🏿❤️❤️

@iatime4change

This is what's missing on the main music stage. REAL SINGING, REAL TALENT and people with their own unique look, sound and style!

@gailstewart5367

BILL WITHERS TRIBUTE was EPIC, anytime the whole band is swaying and grooving!! THIS MOVED ME TO TEARS!!

@decholes95

They should honor Deborah Cox, Mya, Aaliyah, Monica, Brandy, and Usher. 90’s RnB Royalty❤️

@brownsugar3042

I'm so glad they honored Tamia. She's so underrated. I love her music.

@carlosleon9699

Ms. Adams stayed at a hotel where I worked. The front desk didnt know who she was. I was so embarrassed. I went over and personally welcomed her. She was so lovely and classy!

@lyndajay4407

The Gospel segment is giving me LIFE !!!!

@DallasSniper

This is what an music honors/awards show should be.

@hadbl12

The tribute to Yolanda Adams was absolutely one of the best of all times. Three powerhouse singers, because that’s how many it took to do her justice.... L. Johnson killed it tho

@onege4460

THOSE BACKGROUND SINGERS ARE SO GIFTED. OH MY GOD!!!

@tangisplace6827

This was the best awards show I've seen in a long time..That band was tight and the background singers as well!

@iam4everfarrah645

Le'Andria Johnson shouldn't do tributes to anybody cuz every time she Touch Somebody song she killed it and turns it into something even more amazing than what the song was already oh my God she can't do no wrong God gave that girl a gift the best part about every time she open her mouth she believed everything she singing about
