Hokkaido’s wilderness is absolutely breathtaking! From its snow-covered landscapes to its wildlife, Japan’s wild north is a true natural gem

@kylecarmean9636

Japan is the most unsual island archepeligo in that it's the only big group of islands to have the northern extreme of arctic type weather and the southern extreme of tropical jungle and mangrove and everything in between weather, I'd love to see every part of it.

@stevehuk902

I was hoping for something to fall asleep to. But this was way to beautifully done. Great documentary

@veldawells2839

Extremely educational. Following the wheel of the feeding pyramid, and seasonal changes and circle of life. So vibrant and mysterious. Absolutely amazing variety of biodiversity in this northern most peninsula of Japan. The brown bear cub sliding down the hill - magical. Foxes on ice - unexpected. Beautiful narration and production. Weeks and months of filming I expect, in extreme conditions. Thank you for bringing the world into our homes. ❤

@blkbelt203

Wonderful documentary. Didn't give to much thought of Japanese wildlife. Changed my mind the diversity is incredible.

@sheilagraham8543

I had not been aware that owls, among their other qualities , fished. Just shows there is something new to learn every day.

@dailybrother9180

@johne1431

Brilliant cinematography and one of the most endearing fox scenes too! Loved it.

@dmays67

A happy random stop over I enjoyed this work very much. Thanks to all the talented people involved! Here's hoping we can bring overselves back from the brink such that these delicate vulnerable flaura and fauna continue to thrive and survive along side us.

@DavidPKramer

Thank you for a beautiful and most interesting documentary.

@Elvenpath2008

Exceptional ! And beautiful music. ...thank you

@fabiodeoliveiraribeiro1602

This is a beautiful documentary about a distant and little-known Japanese region. A good narrative, with beautiful images and dramatic landscapes frozen by the harsh winter. The delicate soundtrack does not drown out the narrator's voice, which is good.

@jjaycadaynay

Wow a brilliant documentary. Cheers ❤

35:53 Thought you could sneak that sound effect in, eh?
