@bigyoshi5170

Feels like if they want the tip they should buy me dinner first

@adamh8101

Uber eats is not an essential service; its a luxury.

@AspieMemoires

So they direct their ire towards the customers not tipping….but not the company they work for that doesn’t pay them enough to begin with…?

@DeathsNitemareShepardOfHope

A tip should never be expected and is absolutely never mandatory.

@Sets.

These people talk like as if they just fought a dragon just to give us our damn food.

“You know what this is? It’s the world’s smallest violin playing just for the waitresses.” - Mr. Pink

@eggdinch23

I know someone that went to a pizza place regularly and the workers recognized him and said "We are grateful that you eat here all the time but you could always leave a tip." He said "Ok I will do that next time" and just made sure to never go there again.

@Sir_Persevere

Dear delivery person/waiter: I'm not your boss. I'm a customer. It's not my job to pay you. It's my job to pay your boss, and then it's your boss' job to pay you. If you don't like what you're being paid, find some other line of employment.

@Unknown-us3ii

If Uber eats doesn't pay and you're not into charity for a multimillion company... Stop, leave, and never come back! If enough people leave then we say bye bye to Uber eats!! That's how we get rid of trash companies!!!

Drive on icy roads in -5 degree weather to restaurant
Drive thru down, go inside

"Would you like to add a tip?"

I understand Falling Down a little more every year...

@JulianneRegina

5:17 I had a Dominos delivery driver do this exact thing. I gave the guy a $5 tip for a roughly $25 order. He stood there, looked me straight in the eye and asked if I could tip him better.

I was so taken aback by the boldness of this dude. I simply closed the door and immediately called the store and corporate about the incident.

@charlessaint7926

One time I ordered a pizza from a local place. In the special instructions for the deliveryman, I wrote, "Possible zombies in the area. Be alert."
When the deliveryman came to my house, he stopped thirty feet short, and yelled to me-at the door-"Sir! I have you had any recent contact with the Infected? Are you experiencing any body aches, chills, or fever, or a desire for flesh?"
"No. I'm clean." Someone just earned their tip.

@dirtydeesenpai

But even when you do tip reasonably, they still feel like it’s not enough. And what the hell is up with the whole additional tip on top of gratuity….

@ProtoManiac2283

I wish people just got paid a decent wage to begin with. The way tipping is normalized in the US is weird to me as a European.

@chaosroy2426

Meanwhile, literally anywhere else, tipping isn't expected, nor is it even an option.

@releasethekraken5039

Glad to be from a place where the mandatory tipping culture has never been a thing

@jeanie7555

At Panera I put in my order, cash myself out, I pick it up at a window, I make my own drink, and put my dishes with the garbage when I'm done ... Then it asks me to tip the team 💀

@Defa_Noob

"I wish people understood what it's like being a delivery driver"

The entitlement of people today is wild, they're acting like they're doing some extremely intense work 😂

@MrNoLen5

Uber, Lift, Doordash was never supposed to be a full-time job. It was meant to be a side hustle.

@SnowRaver-p2v

$5 tip? Brother we ain't made of money!
Go get a job that doesn't require tips to survive. Damn.
