After watching the Pie Jesu golden buzzer of this year @BGT I had to come to watch this! Who's with me watching in 2023?💪

Lloyd Weber dedicated this song to his father after he passed away.

Merciful Jesus, merciful Jesus, merciful Jesus, merciful Jesus
Father, who takes away the sins of the world
Grant them rest, grant them rest
Merciful Jesus, merciful Jesus, merciful Jesus, merciful Jesus
Father, who takes away the sins of the world
Grant them rest, grant them rest
Lamb of God, Lamb of God, Lamb of God, Lamb of God
Father, who takes away the sins of the world
Grant them rest, grant them rest
everlasting

Rest

Angelic inspiration.

The inspiration for the song is heartbreaking.

@domeatown

god, I hope someone out there is praying this prayer for me

@welcomebangkok4808

Just take a note that this song give me some happiness during covid wave 4 in Thailand. Many people suffered from the virus. Please pray for my country.

@kipwhite6532

I was honored to direct a choir singing this in St. Paul’s Cathedral. Never did I feel so much peace and sheer joy in making music! I thank God for his blessings, and I thank AYC for using the gift of music to give children the opportunity to travel the globe making music.

@paulbaker9434

When people write music like this they are touched by God.

I buried my dear father 4 days ago this was the exit song.
My mum and dad bought this when my twin brother and I were little boys.
We played it on an old vinyl 45.
Brings tears to my eyes…love you dad.x

@nonockalinge1241

Quem também procurou está música após ver o menino cantando no Britain’s got talent 2023?

@geraldtanderson9044

I sang this in Latin with a Male Chorus nearly 20 years ago. I never knew the English lyrics to this composition until last week. The words are beyond description in the depth of their meaning to me now, since the recent loss of my beautiful wife of 39 years.

@BritishBeachcomber

What can I say? Just so beautifully perfect

I don't care what anyone says - surely surely there's a God. Not a feeble whimsical diety, but all knowing all powerful and......entirely loving God!!!
