Chris Ryan IS THE KING... of interrupting. Short Live the King!
51:00 I said something similar about Eternal Sunshine after watching that episode. Severance hit that perfectly in that they went so hard on the influence on this episode that it popped perfectly in contrast to the rest of the show. Yet, they made that look make sense within the context of what's happening.
Do you guys like anything?! You didn't like the Oscars. You were bored with White Lotus. You don't like Severance. Do you review anything that you feel something other than negativity?
Could I please request a segment on The Pitt or Paradise? Many thanks. P.S.: Love your work Machine
No Other Land & I'm Still Here were very pleasant surprise wins as was Emilia Perez thankfully only winning 2 of its 13 Noms! Brody's speech was the definition of self-indulgent & self-important, just kept going & going & going...Huge S/O to Severance Cinematographer Jessica Lee Gagné on her directorial debut on EP 7 which she absolutely knocked out of the park!
Happy and surprised that No Other Land won! The most important film of the year
23:00 😂 sometimes Andy’s quips make me burst out laughing
A show that has filled in the backstory well: The Leftovers. The Garveys at Their Best.
Paradise, please, the last ep was amazing 😊
All Quiet On The Western Blunt!!
Chris and Andy constantly shitting on Severence while praising the absolute bore-fest full of unlikeable characters that has been season 3 of White Lotus so far makes absolutely no sense to me.
Andy has become insufferable
The theory this season's timeline is between season 1 and 2 is already debunked. Chloe told Chelsea about "Gary" and his ex-wife Tonya, who she claims committed suicide.
I would love to hear more of Andy's take on The Brutalist! I, too, did not particularly like the movie and have several issues with it. I, like CR, also think Timmy should have won <3
CR is right Parker Posey - Victoria did say it’s lorazepam she takes
Talk about the MobLand trailer next episode. Guy ritchie, Tom Hardy new show
Adrian Brody's acceptance speech is a huge turn off because of how rude he was starting from the gum spit to the way he talks down at the conductor - just no manners.
Oscar thoughts begin at 4:30
Arrival achieves the backfilling angle (and maybe has some Eternal Sunshine influence)
