@PalashBackup

Betty, I am loving your mom energy. I have always enjoyed your content, but right now I am absolutely blow away by your way of presentation. Thanks for the video.

That lofree flow lite with the hades switches sounded CRAZY!!!!

@TousiffTH

it's so good to see regular uploads again, makes me happy.

@SwitchandClickOfficial

Update: The keyboard works on Linux, just not the software.

@rolfathan

The tape mod does wonders for this keyboard. I will say, I did a custom with GMMK barebones, tecsee yellow medium switches (not the LOWEST profile, but much lower than standard switches), o-rings, gateron low profile stabs, womier low profile keycaps, poron stickers under the switches, and a thicker shelf liner inside to make it a little less hollow sounding. That combo is quieter, and has a deeper thock, and to me is a much more pleasant sound. However, that's DIY. This keyboard, in the discounted kickstarter price, seems worth it. But once that thing hits $130, I would suggest the ones I went with. It's just such a pleasant sounding combo, particularly those yellow mediums.

@gilangsantoso2852

I really hope that keyboard makers start to prioritize proper QMK/VIA compatibility over RGB backlight.

@Darkstar77_1

It would be great if you took some time to test these out on Linux before saying they don't work. 99.9% of boards are going to work in Linux, just not the software for configuring. If the board can function as a proper USB HID, Linux is going to work with it. The problems usually only happen when the keyboard isn't compliant with the USB HID standard, and require software on the system to function. Off the top of my head the Keychron K4 at release, and a few Logitech boards way back when they had the roamer switches. Even then, they mostly worked, and keychron solved that in a firmware update after the fact.

You could drop a Linux live distro on a USB drive, and just boot it off of USB without installing it, to test these boards. The blanket statement of not supported, or won't work, or might work, just get rid of it, and check it. The worst thing that could happen is you like Linux and use it more.

@MoncefVortex

I bought the Lofree Flow Lite after your recommendation in this video, and I really love it. It's smooth and the sound is amazing. And as a traveler, a low profile keyboard is my best option. Thank you very much for the videos you create! I also enjoyed your new introductory videos about watches.

@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017

Thank you for mentioning the USB adapter to bring the dongle closer to the keyboard. I'm using a wireless keyboard which doesn't connect reliably at really short distances. I never considered putting the dongle on a cable like that.

@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017

It's cool how the righthand row of keys to accommodate a full arrow cluster has almost become standard now. I personally use TouchCursor or Karabiner or QMK to implement SpaceFN to give me arrow keys on the home row, but I still appreciate the improvement in design on basic keyboards (and I do still use the arrow cluster occasionally).

@RR-ss1tj

i usually tape mod my keyboards, but i think this is the 1st time that the no tape mod sounds better. probably because its a low profile and has to be treated differently. i will be buying the bigger one for travel and mobile work keyboard.

@SoidHoid

The logitech MX Mechanical is the first mechanical keyboard I tried, which is low profile. It'd be nice to see that included in the comparison video that you have coming up.

@Luna-sf7rn

love ur vids! quick correction, the kickstarter ends in two days, in nov is when they plan to ship!

@PulpoPalpable

And here is another great keyboard without ISO distribution 😫

@IsayanBros

Amazing video. Very informative, fun to watch, and no nonsense. Thank you!

@nicollemayol5655

I love the flow lite. I rocked a keychron k3 for over 5 years until the battery failed on me, so I decided to get the flow lite to try it out and I absolutely love it. The typing experience is amazing and it sounds great even out of the box. The only thing I miss from the keychron is the aluminum frame, the rgb and the color way (lighter color ways don’t really match my setup but oh well). It’s great, specially for the price (got it for 109 bucks in Amazon)

@henryvanho7971

great video, wish lofree offers the lofree flow lite with the option to choose between hades or spector. i'm a fan of silence when typing but enjoys the mechanical feel. $70 for the hades switches is hard to justify.

@digiscream

The trouble with Lofree and Nuphy is that they don't do ISO versions - at least, not outside some tiny European markets. On the bright side, Keychron's low-profile keyboards can be made much better by simply lubing the switches and adding O-rings.

@walt_the_dolt

Low profile keyboards are more comfortable to use in my opinion. I bought one a year ago and have never looked back.

@lordMaroza

I have been using Logitech K780 for the past 5 years (still haven't changed the battery somehow), and it has no sound whatsoever. It's perfect. It's connected to my PC via 2.4, iPad via BT, and TV via BT.
