Always remember that Gemma built the technical marvel that is M3gan in her garage in a day with a box of scraps. She is seriously a sleeper Tony Stark. Also the moment I saw BRUCE I knew he was gonna make that assist in the 3rd act! I enjoyed the pay off, it's like Real Steel meets Aliens.

I enjoyed this movie quite a lot. But I was annoyed at how they framed the aunt. I know so many people who have collectabes. My own aunt had shadowboxes and doll houses we were not allowed to touch. She spent hundreds of dollars on her hobby. That's not bad. They frame the aunt as if she is terrible for having boundaries. Not to mention her sister just died and she doesn't have kids. Like give her time to adjust.

M3GAN may not be the most terrifying horror movie villain but she is unnerving. She’s smack dab in the uncanny valley and once she starts thinking for herself it’s pretty scary

I hope the sequel has M3gan downloading herself into furbies, then military tech. It'd be cool to see M3gan acting more emotionally abusive (controlling, manipulative, etc...) to get what it wants. I think it'd be scarier

I watched M3gan a few weeks ago, much better than I was expecting. Kind of curious where the sequel would go if they ever make one.

Like you, I assumed the boss's assistant was sending data to a rival company for money and at the end we'd see an army of M3gan's being assembled overseas or something? Though I wouldn't be mad at the sequel going Eve of Destruction with AI terrorizing a family in an automated house.
