Congrats Audrée!! Love the focus on Audrée and the other athletes. “Audrée’s boyfriend”, “Jenny’s husband” was the perfect way to honour the people that deserved it. Wonderful choice.
Thanks for capturing my finish! Special moment with my family (White bucket cap, yellow pack, & glasses smacking the finish arch & hugging Caleb). We appreciated seeing that moment!
What a film! Loved the focus on the women. Audrée really deserved this one. What an effort!
I love how even though it's your channel, you put all the focus on Audrée by calling yourself "Audrée's boyfriend." Man, this one captured my heart from the start. I've settled down in Boulder, started trail running and training for ultras, and Leadville and Buena Vista are among my favorite places on Earth. You have a real gift for capturing the magic of this sport.
Audrée, you have been such an inspiration to me as a female runner and it was so incredible witnessing your strength firsthand. What an incredible effort and race. Thank you for giving us the insight into your High Lonesome experience and leaving so many women inspired to test their boundaries (also, congrats on the sick line up of sponsors) Jeff, what an absolute masterpiece of a documentary. Thank you for putting an emphasis on the presence of women in the sport and of course, showcasing the beauty of Colorado through your work. You both are such an inspiration to so many and I am so excited to see how you can continue to build the community around trail running and ultra marathons. Thank you for all you do! So much love and respect for you both
This film has been in my que for a while so I'm a bit late in commenting :) I've spent considerable time in Buena Vista (another local way to say it is: 'Beeeuuuuneee" lol) and the surrounding mountains because I lived in a neighboring county (Park) for almost 20 years. Seeing the race course brought back some memories (I teared up thru a lot of the video). I'm volunteering at High Lonesome this year for the first time; can't wait! Thank you for creating another beautiful film. Congrats to Audree - well done!
I love this film. Seeing Audrée run another tough race, and hearing her candid account of the experience, is great for women in the sport, as is the evident support of the men in the field for all the women running. The natural world of the event has such a strong appeal for those of us from the mountains of B.C. The wonderful community of the event, with happy, fervent support of a Canadian runner, is almost heartbreaking, given the current state of geopolitics. Thanks for this glimpse of a better world.
Congrats on the finish Audrée, that looked like a tough one! The film brilliantly captured the whole event! Thanks for sharing 😊
Audree is straight good vibes. She is so kind in her interactions with the other runners and volunteers.
Beautiful film! I feel honored to have a cameo in it 😆 (the volunteer at Cottonwood announcing the runners in a UFC style)
What a beautiful film! One of the most positive and beautiful films I've watched about trail running yet! A huge congrats to Audrée for her amazing work and all the crew for ensuring that she'd do so well during the race!
This is professional documentary level editing. Super impressive athlete and an incredible way to capture the journey.
Congratulations to Audree! So nice to see a focus on women in trail running. I love your films!
Wow. Congratulations Audree. That was a hard earned run. You pushed through your pain and ran the entire 100 miles! So much respect! I'll keep following you both here and on Strava!
What a beautiful nature! Good job Audrée!
Audrée, you are an inspiration and you should be very proud. Congrats on the race and thanks for letting us follow along. Jeff, thank you for another wonderful film, your creations are always so well-shot and edited! Thank you both!
Huge congratulations Audree!!! Thank-you for been so brave and for showing everyone your high and low moments. Great to see the close bond you have with your pacers and the encouragement they gave you. Very inspiring to see 3 strong ladies. I'm a Mum, wife, river scientist & a cyclist. You've really inspired me to cycle more endurance events. Best of luck to you and Jeff this season 🎉🎉😊
Those overhead lake shots were so trippy! Go Audrée!!
“If it’s not on Strava it didn’t happen” :)) Loving your work Audree xxx
